OSAKA bench was designed and built for the Korean Architecture studio SGHS , to be shown at the Korean Pavilion during the Architecture Biennale 2018 di Venezia, as part of their own installation “Building States”. The bench was named after the EXPO ’70 Korean Pavilion in Osaka, as a functional scaled-model furniture. We were very honour to see Mr Kim Won, the architect of that very Pavilion in Osaka, sitting on our bench and reading his own poem during the opening of the Korean Pavilion at the Architecture Biennale di Venezia 2018.
