ALINE is a series of furniture inspired by mobile barricades found throughout downtown Seoul. An anonymous obstacle, symbolizing separation and control, was reinterpreted into a context of rest and dialogue. The structure was developed into various types of furniture, while keeping its form as concise as possible. Invited by <Euljiro Light Way 2019> event, we collaborated with local craftsmen around the Euljiro district to realize the project.
